I am a Linguistics PhD candidate from UCT, who needs to live in the northern Cape for lengthy periods to do research on language. House sitting will help me survive as funds are meagre. I can also help out with other tasks, as I cannot sit before a desk all day, and also need exercise. I used to be a maid and worked for four different people in Germany, as well as being a cleaner in hospitals. I have had a dog and several cats and I am able to take care of them well, and bond with most animals. I like children, have volunteered in literacy programs with five to twelve year olds, and spend my life as a student with teenagers. I have most of a diploma in horticulture and love gardening, so I wouldn't mind doing garden maintenance such as watering, weeding and pruning. I am very honest, to a fault.
